Local Bleomycin Treatment in a Newborn with Axillary Lymphangioma: A Case Report

Cystic lymphangioma usually develops in the neck and axilla, while lesser breast tissue, abdomen, mediastinum, orbita, parathyroid and extremities can also be seen. In recent years, it has been reported that bleomycin and picibanil (OK-432) sclerotherapy treatments have been successful results in the treatment of lymphangioma. In this article, we presented a case of bleomycin treatment in a mass after axillary lymphangiomatous lesions were diagnosed at delivery at the end of pregnancy.

Aksiller Lenfanjiomu Olan Bir Yenidoğanda Lokal Bleomisin Tedavisi: Olgu Sunumu

Kistik lenfanjiom, genellikle boyun ve aksilla bölgesinde ortaya çıkarken, daha az oranda meme dokusu, abdomen, mediasten, orbita, paratiroid ve ekstremitelerde de görülebilir. Son yıllarda lenfanjiom tedavisinde bleomisin ve picibanil (OK-432) sklerozan tedavi uygulamaları ile başarılı sonuçlar alındığı bildirilmektedir. Bu yazıda hastanemizde takipli olmayan gebelik sonucunda doğumda aksiller lenfangiom tanısı konulduktan sonra kitle içine bleomisin tedavisi uygulanan bir olgu sunulmuştur.
