AMAÇ
Bu çalışmanın amacı sempatik deri testi bulgularının helikobakter pilori testleri pozitif ve negatif olan hastalarda karşılaştırmaktır.
YÖNTEM
Helikobakter pylori pozitif 20 peptik ülser hastası (1.grup), helikobakter pylori negatif 20 peptik ülser hastası (2. grup) ve 20 sağlıklı kontrol grubu katılımcısına sempatik cilt testi çalışıldı. Üç gruba da test uygulandı, amplitüd ve latanslar ölçüldü. Test bulgularına göre gruplar karşılaştırıldı.
BULGULAR
Grup 1, 2 ve kontrol grubu katılımcılarının ortalama yaşları sırasıyla 48.7,46.5 and 46.3’dü. Her üç grup arasında yaş ve cinsiyet açısından anlamlı fark yoktu. Latans değerleri 1.grupta 1,44±0,3; 2. grupta 1,49 ±0,15; 3. grupta ise 1,54±0,1 ms idi. Amplitüd değerleri 1. grupta 935±258; 2. grupta 949±320 iken, sağlıklı kontrollerde 895±360 µV idi. Amplitüd ve latans değerlerinde üç grup arasında anlamlı farklılık yoktu.
SONUÇ
Helikobakter pylori pozitif ve negatif olan peptik ülser hastalarında sempatik deri yanıtlarının amplitüd ve latans değerleri sağlıklı kontrollerin sonuçları ile benzerdir.

The Electrophysiological Evaluation of Sympathetic Nervous System in Patients with Peptic Ulcer

AIM
The aim of the study was to compare the results of sympathetic skin test in patients with positive and negative test results for helicobacter pylori.

METHODS
Sympathetic skin response was studied in helicobacter pylori positive 20 peptic ulcer patients (Group 1), helicobacter pylori negative 20 peptic ulcer patients (Group 2) and 20 healthy controls (Group3). Sympathetic skin response test applied in all three groups, amplitudes and latencies were recorded. Three groups were compared with the test results.

RESULTS
The mean ages of the participants of group 1, group 2 and control group were 48.7, 46.5 and 46.3 years, respectively. The mean age and the female/male ratio did not differ significantly among the groups. The mean sympathetic skin response latency was 1,44±0,3 in group 1;1,49 ±0,15 in group 2 and 1,54±0,1 ms in controls. The mean amplitude values were 935±258 in group 1; 949±320 in group 2 and 895±360 µV in controls. There were no significant differences in terms of latency and amplitude among the three groups.

CONCLUSION
Latency and amplitude values of the sympathetic skin response are similar in helicobacter pylori positive and negative peptic ulcer patients and healthy controls.
